Blocks

Blocks are very useful within Moodle. These are available to help you get to where you want to go, provide information or give feedback. Blocks will generally be available on the right side of the screen or down below the content (on a mobile device). Blocks will be different for different roles. Teachers may have access to additional information that students don't have. Teachers can also add additional blocks into a course.

The image above is what blocks look like for students when first opened. Notice the + icon. Clicking that will disclose the information for the block. 

Once opened, there will be information or links. The folder icon indicates more information. 

Clicking on any of the links will take you to that page. For example, clicking on "My home" in the Navigation block above, would take you to the My home page.
