Activities and Resources

Moving around within Activities and Resources.

Moodle uses the term "Activities" to describe the various "tools" that a student interacts with, or completes externally and uploads into Moodle.  The term "Resources" is used to describe the "tools" that are used to provide information or  or other resources for student usage.

Many Activities and Resources have additional "pages," "screens," or "views." Generally, navigation through or between the different sources of information is pretty straightforward. In most instances, the user will click a "Button" type link to move on.

This section will provide you with information on "How To Navigate" around and within each of the activities or resources in use (see list below).

PLEASE NOTE: Much more detailed "How To Use" information is provided on each of the Activities and Resources, showing you how a teacher and a student will actually use each of the following later in this Using Moodle course.

Activities and Resources used in ATEP Courses:

  • Pages
  • Lesson
  • Book
  • Quiz
  • Glossary
  • Forum
  • Assignment

Now we'll take a look at how one moves around within each of these Activities or Resources.
