Course announcements are available at the top of every course. 

Course announcements are a special type of Forum. Only Feasibility Teachers (not students) can post to this special area. The latest 5 posts will automatically show up in the "Latest News" block. This makes it very easy for Feasibility Teachers to provide information to students. This information can be a reminder, a tip or trick or just something to help students. 

Adding an Announcement

The quickest and easiest way to add an announcement, is to use the Add a new topic link within the Latest News block. 

*Special Note: This is one of the few times that you do NOT have to turn editing on first. 

After clicking on the Add a new topic, you will receive a new screen to add an announcement. 

Enter a Subject and a Message. *Tip: Make the Subject the basic information and add detail to the Message. A Subject like "Due tomorrow" will communicate clearly and provide information to students.
